Delicious treats.. Below, on the left are the best Cassate! Which are made of sponge cake moistened with fruit juices or liqueur and layered with ricotta cheese and candied fruits, then covered with a shell of marzipan, pink and green pastel colored icing, and decorative designs. To die for!!
